Tea and Films #2: The OC
The OC has grazed the world with it's famous theme song and it's addictive drama since 2003. The series follows 4 teens and their parents, showing there lifestyle and relationships in the very swish Newport, California. Starring Mischa Barton, Ben Mckenzie, Rachel Bilson and Adam Brody as Marissa, Ryan, Summer and Seth the series starts with Ryan's journey from Chino and entering an alien world in Newport. There he meets Marissa, the pretty girl next door to Seth a loner who has been crushing on Summer forever. Together they go back to high school and build relationships, survive parties, addiction and there parents.
My favourite thing about the series, Is how you really feel like you are going through there up's and down's with them. It feels very real and unfortunately you get attached very quickly. My personal favourite character is Seth because he is so funny and he just brings this positive vibe to the whole series. Plus, him and Summer are so cute and his dorky personality is something you can't not love. There are times in this series where you laugh so hard and cry so hard so I would highly recommend tissues. If you have not seen this series already, please do! It has slowly crept it's way up to being the best series I have ever watched.
