Channeling my inner Kylie Jenner- Ash Toned Lips

I have just been loving the Kylie Jenner look recently. Those bold brows, long lashes and ash toned lips have been a go to, and I just love the look. It's all just a combo of everything I love and I have picked up some lippies that have been helping me achieve that.

I believe that the lipstick that Kylie has been said to use is "Velvet Teddy" by MAC. Its that creamy dark ash pink that I love. It is quite similar to my natural lip colour, which I think makes it look a bit more natural and overdrawing lips isn't too bad of a problem. I would recommend using a lip liner to do this, but trying with the bullet works fine for me. I was wondering the aisles of boots and came across 2 shades that work good together and alone to give me those Velvet pink lips. The Revlon matte balm in "Elusive" is a light ashy pink, that is good for people who don't necessarily want to go too ash but like the look. I love how matte this is, but it isn't drying and doesn't suck the moisture out my lips. This is my first matte balm and I'm looking at trying out more! A really great addition to the makeup collection and a great everyday colour. Slightly darker and more of a purple tone is, Rimmel's Moisture Renew lipstick in 'Vintage Pink'. This is very much more purple than pink and is a really lovely 90's inspired colour. I love blotting this down to make it matte and to make the colour a little less intense. Mixing these 2 lipstick together creates an in-between colour that is the perfect 90's lip colour. Its a lovely subtle shade, that is really feminine yet quite classy. Im loving this look!
