I love taking care of my hair, and after a bad hair dye job a few months back I take some special time with my tresses. Thats why I decided to adapt the motto, Healthy scalp = Healthy hair. A couple weeks ago I decided to invest in some hair products from Phyto. Phyto is a brand of haircare products that use herbs and plants to keep the hair healthy and good looking. I purchased the PhytoNectar shampoo which is a nourishing shampoo for ultra dry hair and the PhytoCyan which is a thickening shampoo for women. For the after shower haircare, I got the Phyto 9 Nourishing day cream which is a thin lotion like cream which hydrates and protects dry hair.

The Phyto nectar shampoo I must admit smells like a flaxseed oil shot. Its not nice, but in terms of shampooing it's great. Its thick but still cleanses the hair thoroughly whilst nourishing the roots. It works on dry hair and is really great. Phytocyane is just as good. I haven't noticed my hair becoming thicker, but instead more voluminous and soft. Its really great but I wouldn't recommend using it every time you wash your hair as it can get quite drying after a while. The only dissapointement I had was Phyto9. I was expecting it to be really nourishing, but It just didn't do anything. I didn't notice my hair becoming softer or pleasing so this was a big let down for me. Id really like to try some more phyto products because Im loving the shampoo's so far.
Have you tried Phyto? What would you recommend?
