Skincare Encounters - Cleansing Oil //

So, the other day while picking up my fix of Indian Night Jasmine at the body shop I may have been a tad naughty and bought a new skincare item. Ive never tried Cleansing oils before, so I thought I might give this one a go. I have never really got out of the regular Lancome Bi Facil and cold cream routine so I thought i'd take the risk and boy, Im so glad I did. This cleansing oil is made from organic chamomile oil from Norfolk (WOO!). The cleanser contains a few other oils to condition the skin whilst give a thorough cleanse. To use this, take a few pumps of the oil and apply to dry skin. It can be used for sensitive skin and even works on sensitive eyes ( Trust me i have the most sensitive eyes in the entire universe and this doesn't even make them water). Just a few wipes of this removes the most stubborn of eye makeup and mascara. I didn't even see any left on the cotton pad whilst doing a double cleanse. This is a great alternative to Bioderma or any micellar cleansers. It removes all makeup (foundation, eye makeup etc) without the chemicals of some cleansing waters. I also feel like this nourishes the lashes and eyebrows so that is a great bonus. It hasn't broken me out which is great, So I really do recommend this. This cleansing oil retails for $29.99 SGD.

  1. My fave is still the classic - Bioderma, but who knows, I've never tried cleansing oils before, maybe I should. :)

  9. I will have to try this (and the Indian Night Jasmine mist because it's the only floral spray from TBS that I don't own..!), it sounds so luxurious and impressive in removing makeup! But I was just wondering if you think it'd be ok for combination skin? My skin gets a little oily so maybe this isn't the best option for my skin, but nevertheless I'd love to pick it up! x

  10. Even if you have combo or oily skin this is great. It emulsifies with water so no oily residue will remain, and plus it removes all excess oil and dirt on the skin. It leaves the skin feeling soft and hydrated without the skin tight feeling. Its great for all skin types! Try it out because it wont break the bank if you dont like it! But i love it :) xx
