Extra Hair Helpers //

I know this is my 2nd hair post this week but I think I don't really do many so why not. I really enjoy taking care of my hair because I think it can make a real statement if you have lush, shiny looking hair. So I have now decided on my final products that I use after the shower to keep my hair looking fab. This products keep my hair protected, shiny and damage free.

1. Homemade Leave in Conditioner:
This was made as a off the whim home made leave in conditioner. I used a little bit of the Macadamia Moisturising rinse with some water and shook it. It instantly detangles my for an easier comb through and for it too be a little easier to handle.

2. Macadamia Nourishing Leave in cream
This has been a kind of miracle products for me. This thick rich cream can be used as a styling tool and also something to really take care of your mane. I use this after I have brushed my hair out for a solution for the lengths of my hair. This takes care of frizz and makes sure the last 15cm of my hair are looking soft and swishy.

3. L'Oreal Elseve Extrodinary oil
This is my holy grail oil. It moisturises the end's of my for protection against split ends and hear damage. I definitely notice when I don't use this because my hair isn't soft and shiny and just generally feeling and looking healthy. If you have also dyed and ombre hair this is great for keeping colour rich and damage away.

4. Redken Color extend sun sparkling shield
This has been a new addition on my no wash days. I use this to protect my hair from the Hot sun and give it a really nice shine. This is an oil so sometimes I do find myself using a little too much but I really just like this. It gives my hair an oomph of moisture and softness on the days when I don't wash my hair.

What are your favourite after wash hair products?

  3. My hair needs some loving care soon. I have Alterna's bamboo shine spray, which I love but don't use often enough out of sheer laziness. As I sit here it's all tangled and blah! You're right that hair makes a statement, and I go as far as saying if your hair sucks, your mood is a little less bright!

  5. The Macadamia products have been on my radar for a while now but I don't know what to start with first. This leave-in cream sounds good but I'm afraid it may be too heavy for my hair. We'll see!
