Christmas Cookies - Last Minute Baking //

So Im sure some of you are sitting there thinking, I wish I could have baked something before christmas or what should I bake for christmas? Not to worrry!! Im going to show you a quick and simple recipe for some easy sugar cookies with icing!

Im not going to write anything because the pictures pretty much explain it all, but for the ones that don't a small passage shall do!

Gather ingredients! I used this recipe so If you're wondering on the measurements click here.

Place all dry ingredients in a bowl and whisk.

In a seperate bowl ddd Sugar and mix with a whisk. Slowly add the butter and use an electric mixer to blend until fluffy.

Slowly add in flour and mix with electric mixer.

Add any other powder ingredients and flavours such as cinnamon or vanilla extract and place the dough in the fridge. Wrap in Clingwrap.

This is the icing I made. I wouldnt really recommend it and would probably opt for Royal Icing as that is a lot thicker and easier to work with! If your looking for a dipping icing this is ok!
