I like to think of my room as my comfy, minimal haven. Since the arrival of some new Ikea items, my room has turned into something I look forward to coming into as apposed to just my room. So I have created this reading nook at the top of my bed to not only create a little cozy space but to encourage me to spend a lot more time burying my nose in books. I created this with a simple lamp, candle and some good books and magazines that I have been catching up on. Its really simple just to create a small private space to cozy up in on those cold (warm for me) winter nights with some tea (iced) and a light book!

This is such a cute space! I couldn't pick a favourite book, but I'm currently reading Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins and I highly recommend all of her books, they're really fun and heartwarming.
