Liquid Lipsticks: Matte or Glossy //

Please excuse my absence from my little corner, I haven't been inspired to do anything these past 2 weeks and in all honesty I just couldn't be asked to do anything, Im so tired from school. However I did get a little package the other day and Thank Gosh! because it inspired me to do this post. I am not really a big fan of the whole really pigmented lip look, however i'm really willing to give anything a try. The reason I don't like it it because I feel like it looks a little too intense with the size of my lips and it just, I don't know. However when i saw these beautiful colours I could not wait to give them a go. In the first picture, you can see the Balala Dream of Me lipgloss in 03* which is a really bright orangey red. It is so pigmented I almost couldnt believe it and has a really nice glossy finish. It is really hydrating, which is great but you do find it a bit slippy. The applicator is really nice, as it is almost like a paddle, so really easy to apply the product with. It has a really nice fresh scent, but I am not a fan of the packaging. I found it a little tacky, but its the product inside that counts! The next product is the Me Now Generation 2 Long lasting lipgloss. I did not really find that it was a lip gloss, as it dried completely matte and felt more like a matte lipstick. I really like the small packaging of this as it would be great to slip into your handbag. The applicator was a simple doe foot which I love, and Im really liking this plum autumn shade. I really like how pigmented this is, but it dries very quickly. I found that once you put a coat on you have to work really quickly to fill your lips in. It wasn't too drying, but I found it took a little bit more time than usual to take off. Nothing too strenuous though! I really like these 2 and can see myself wearing them a lot during the upcoming months.
