Rosy Glow //

As the cold months approach (it just rains here), I notice that not only the leaves change. Things get chilly, we bring out the thicker blankets, start burning candles and we change up our makeup. I know that when people think of Autumn we resort to the usual vampy lip and berry blush but I've decided on something different. How about bringing a little spring to autumn?

 Bringing spring into Autumn you say? Yes. I think instead of matte skin, the dewy look goes nicely as sheer pink cheeks and highlighter looks as if the chill ha caught your cheeks, plus it looks cool too. To achieve this glowy cheek look I decided to use a cheek stain. I didn't want something to intense and I generally enjoy the feel of the lighter products. I dabbed on a little cream highlighter for optimum dewy-ness. These 2 compliment each other so well, and I like the way it doesn't look unnatural at all. For the lips I caught 2 birds with one stone and dabbed on the lip stain. I applied this heavily, waited 1 minute and then removed and dabbed it on. This means that the stain will stay on your lips, sort of like blotting. As for other makeup I did the usual, bold brows, long lashes and bare skin.
