Roots And Bulbs London //

First of all, Massive apology for the lack of posts lately. Ive just been enjoying my summer and being internet free, plus its been the best English weather but Im back to blogging now and today i've got a bit of a different post for you today. Recently my mum decided to take me to Marylebone high street and I came across a small cafe called Roots and Bulbs. Enticed by anything that I may have seen on Tumblr I made sure I payed a visit. I picked up an Almond milk Coffee and a Berry Chia seed pudding. Im not going to lie, I may have picked these up just for a photo opp, but they were so tasty. I loved the almond milk coffee because it had much for of a sweeter flavour than normal coffee. It had a nutty aftertaste and I loved it. To drink they also have a range of smoothies, juices and coffee's to choose from. My Mum picked up a Coconut water which she said was delicious. I also managed to chow down and Chia Seed Pudding, which to me looked a bit like frog spawn but its all good! Im u for trying new things. Much to my excitement, it actually tasted very nice and the berries really added a nice bitterness to the pudding. Its a very odd texture and Im sure most people aren't keen, but if you do come across it, do give it a go. They also have a honey version and some other small treats inside. Overall this cute little store was such a nice getaway from the hustle of the london highstreet. I loved the food and the drinks and it just was such a cute shop. 5/5 would recommend!

  7. Oh I sure wish they had coffee places like that here in Belgium! I'm lactose intolerant and can't have soy so I always opt for almond or coconut milk. I love almond milk for hot chocolate, the taste is so much more refined then regular hot chocolate. Love the picture by the way!

  15. I personally feel like coconut milk can be a little heavy on the stomach on it's own.
