Morning Refreshment //

I will be the first one to admit Im not a morning person. I hate the gross mouth feeling and feeling groggy. Makes me gross thinking about it, but i've got some products in the morning, that i'm feeling like will get me out of bed a little quicker.

So Im not huge fan of the 8 step mist, oil, serum etc morning routine because I just don't have the time. So i've put together this small routine that I think gets the job done well. First I use the Clean and Clear Morning Energy Skin Energising Facial Scrub. I don't use this one everyday because I don't want to irritate my face, but every 3rd day I'll use this and other days I'll just use my regular cleanser or Id love to try and pick up the cleanser version of this. Ive heard it's a dupe for the Origins Ginzing Scrub which I would love to know!. It contains Vitamin C and Ginseng to really wake up and energise tired morning skin and gets rid of dead skin to reveal and overall brighter and more refreshed complexion. I then follow that by a moisturiser. I use the Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua sorbet moisturiser. It is a super light, sorbet texture like moisturiser which cools down the skin and preps for makeup. It makes the skin de puffed, non fatigued and instantly cooled. Im loving this combo, and it's not to expensive either.

What do you like to use on your skin in the morning?

  1. I actually did a video on my morning routine on my YouTube channel - youtube.com/user/ellabooxo - yesterday! I wish I could get away with such a simple routine but my skin needs moisture, damnit!

  5. Great post chick! Both those products sound really awesome. I’ve been using the No7
melting gel cleanser and that leaves skin plump and with a real clean feeling! :-) xx
