// Mario Badescu Drying Cream //

BerrieBlogs©
Recently I have been noticing some spots appearing around my chin, eyebrows and nose. I'm not really a spot prone person, so I was a bit worried about what to do so I thought I might try a treatment for it. I am very familiar with the Mario Badescu drying lotion but didn't think of the drying cream. I thought it would be easier to use and worth a try. I started using it every night sparingly on the spots. I left it on over night and washed it off in the morning. I noticed that the spots were visibly a lot smaller and dried out. They weren't coming to the surface and angry, they were just a little red and dry. The second day I used this and left it over night, the spots went down even further and were a lot less red. I will warn that this does smell a little funky, so beware and also a little goes a long long way. The third day of application the spots disappeared and i was just left with a little spot of dry skin. This is super easy to get rid of with a scrub or a cleansing brush. This pot comes with a lot of product for the amount needed. A little dab will cover around 4-5 spots and is a great base under concealer. This is the great thing about this product is that after using it, you can cover the spot up with some foundation or concealer without irritating the spot. This product can be found in Sephora or on the Mario Badescu website here.

What is your favourite spot treatment?

  6. Great post! I want to try more Mario Badescu products - I've only tried their Aloe and Rose Facial Spray... As for spot treatments, if you get genuinely bad spots then I think Isotrex (a topical retinoid you can get from the Doc) is the only think I've found that really works... Otherwise, I think most spot treatments are a bit 'meh'. Anyway, great blog - I'll be a regular visitor from now on I think... Check mine out if you like: http://daisydabbles.blogspot.co.uk xxx

  7. I'm hearing more and more about Mario Badescu products but I haven't tried any myself. They're not easy to find where I live so it's harder for me to determine what I would like to purchase. Hopefully I will be able to get my hands on some of their products soon. xx

  8. That sounds great - I have no idea where to get it in the UK, I hate ordering online with a passion! I really like using the Origins clear improvement mask on spots, I think it really works.

  9. I am totally hooked on this bi-phase spot treatment from LIERAC! I've tried soooo many spot treatments in the past but none of them ever worked so well as the LIERAC one does.
