If I were on a Desert Island.....//

Thinking about being stranded on an Island I must admit does bring me the chills and why I would be thinking about what makeup to bring baffles me, but it really struck me last week that what makeup do I use everyday, and what makeup do I "need". So, rummaging through Muji storage I went to find staple items that I wear on a daily basis to keep my face from looking mildly presentable.

1. Vaseline
Not only is this a useful beauty product, but if i'm on a Desert Island I could be getting cuts and grazes, and this is handy. No but in all seriousness, Vaseline is the answer to multi use prayers. Lip balm, Highlighter, Makeup Remover and Cuticle protector, these are just the few ways vaseline comes in handy.

2. Concealer
I look like a bit of a zombie without it so concealer is my best friend in the early dawn hours. It covers and brightens the under eye area and conceals and imperfections I may have. This is my favourite concealer (Loreal Lumi Magique) and It's just perfect.

3. Eyebrow Powder
Not vital for most people I understand, but for me Eyebrow powder is an absolute necessity. I look literally like a scarecrow without brows so this is a saviour. I would recommend the Anastasia Brow Duo, Pricey but worth it.

4. Mascara
I think this is on everyones list. Mascara is a must for me. Just like eyebrow powder, I look a tad zombie-esque without it. It lengthens, volumizes and just gives that umph to complete the look. In my opinion, best beauty item ever.
