Blush is used to add colour to the face. This can be in shades of pink, orange, purple and brown. It provides the face with the natural look of blushing while the foundation covers it. My personal favourite blushers are Benefit's Dandelion and Nars Deep throat. Blushes can be shimmery or matte and are applied with a blush or powder brush.
Bronzer:
Bronzer adds the look of a healthy glow. This is especially helpful for people who don't have a natural tanned complexion or are just looking for a summer glow. Matte bronzers are used for conturing which pretty much means sculpting in cheek bones and maximising sunken in features. I like bronzer just because of their sun glow effect and how they can make even the fairest complexions a bit healthier looking after foundation. My personal favourite is Nars Laguna. Bronzers are applied with a small powder or blush brush.
Highlighter:
Highlighters do the opposite of contouring. They bring out features such as cupid's bows, cheek bones and nose tips. They are shimmery and can come in shade's of white, yellow, champagne or bronze. They are applied with a small blush or powder brush. My favourite's are Mary Lou Manizer and Benefit's watts up.
