Giving Things a go- MAC Eyeshadows //

Before I caved and bought myself a palette, I thought I might give the infamous MAC eyeshadow's a go. Now, I'm not saying I didn't trust them, but $28 for an eyeshadow is a shed load of money. If I didn't like them my wallet would be a very unhappy chappy. So, I decided to "borrow" some of my Mum's to give a try before I took the plunge. I tried the shades, "Blanc", "Honeylust" and "Da Bling". 2 of which are shimmer shade's and one a matte. I knew that I wouldn't be disappointed because I love these shades. "Honeylust" is a beautiful golden shimmer shade, very bog standard but since it's MAC, it's royalty. It's lovely as a sweep over the lid colour or a golden highlight. "Blanc" is as simple as it gets. A nude matte shade that I love to put over "Painterly" paint pot, although not much is left I managed to get a few scrapes out to try and I love it. Finally, "Da Bling" is a pink shimmer shade. This has a few gold flecks in it but nothing much. I love this over the Pink Gold Colour Tattoo from Maybelline. Its a nice shade but nothing I would really wear. Overall, I am please with the quality of the shadows and can't wait to take the plunge for some shades of my own.
