Sally Hansen Nail Workshop!

Hey chums! Recently i was invited by the kind people of Sally Hansen to attend a Nail workshop. I was allowed to bring another person so i chose to bring Zazie! I wouldn't have been invited if it wasn't for you guys so thank you a tonne! x The day consisted of learning how to take care of your nails, finding the right shape and colour, cuticle care and painting the nail. I really enjoyed the whole day and found the day really informative. We were provided with a bunch of products that would assist us during the workshop. All of the products being ones that i will definitely purchase in the future. The first part of the day we were taught how to find the right shape nail for you. This was really informative because i learnt that its all about the shape not the colour or length. This was well taught and we got to try the nail shapes out on an artificial nail and on our own. After this, we were taught cuticle care. Most people deal with dry cuticles, so we were taught how to maintain healthy cuticles. We got to practise with an orange wood stick and cuticle gel. The cuticle gel was really good and i can see myself purchasing it in the future. We were then allowed to go for lunch which was provided and i really enjoyed it. After lunch, we learnt about base coats and the importance of protecting the nail clean and healthy. We were provided with Sally Hansen complete salon manicure base coats. I really enjoyed how thin and quickly they dried. Then we got colours from Sally Hansen and were taught how to paint our nails correctly. I didn't realise that I had been painting my nails completely wrong the whole time! you have to start from the centre, work down and then paint in strips. We were also taught how to apply nail strips and top coats!. I really enjoyed the day and at the end of the day we were provided with a goodie voucher and a $15 voucher!. The day was really good and i really enjoyed it! I would like to thank Sally Hansen for Inviting me and for the brilliant day!
